Walk 10 – Introduction To Map Reading & Navigation Theory & Practice

Not confident to go out walking on your own or to venture off the paths you know? Well, join these 2 sessions over 2 Sundays and we’ll have you galivanting across the countryside on your own adventures in no time! The first session is theory based, helping you get to grips with some map reading and journey planning basics. Once you have that under your belt, we’ll have a go at putting it into practice. You’ll each get the opportunity to plan and lead a couple of sections of a longer walk, helping build up your confidence to fly solo. You will need to be available for both sessions. You will be advised of the practical location on 21st.
