This is an opportunity for walkers of all abilities to explore the lovely market town of Petersfield. You will stroll its historic streets, view many of the places of interest graced with blue plaques and hear stories of the people who have lived here over the last 800 years. You will learn why the town has a big lake, why parking has been an issue for many years, and how new developments have been contentious issues since the foundation of Petersfield as a ‘New Town’. The walk will be on pavements, mostly level with a few road crossings.
