Sheep and the Downs go together like hand in fleecy glove. At this time of year there is no better place to see lambs than beneath the scarp slope between Elsted and Didling. This walk climbs the Downs for a birds eye view of the fields below – hopefully full of frolicking lambs. We’ll be joined on our walk through this blissful rural scene by local farmer, historian and walker Andrew Shaxon.

Expect one steep climb/descent.

Why not plan lunch at The Three Horseshoes Pub, Elsted afterwards 😊🍻
