Why drive to wonderful Sky Park Deer Farm when there’s an easy circular walk from Petersfield along the Serpents Trail. Be shown the way there and back by Instagram’s The Ambling Path. At Sky Park Farm you will meet a ranger, feed the deer and receive a snack/drink before completing the loop. Thanks to Sky Park’s generosity, walkers will also receive the generous gift of a voucher for free park entry another day. This walk packs it all!

The Ambling Path is a family-affair. Sally, her husband and daughters aged 7 & 4, explore the local countryside looking for short and easy family-friendly walks to share. They have navigated miles of footpaths looking for play areas, refreshment stops, paddling spots, animals to spy, trees to climb, dens to build and ruins to roam. They provide other families with all the route details they need – from where to park, to whether the pushchair can come too. Needless to say, they have a large and loyal following on social media.

Inspired by the days, long ago, when Harting was famed for its deer parks, our family-owned farm is now devoted to deer. We breed deer. We farm deer. Our butcher offers prime cuts of venison and other meats. Our Visitor Centre celebrates the varied delights of deer. Our cafe menu includes dishes featuring lean, healthy venison. Although we’re devoted to deer, our cafe and butcher offer a wide range of meats and we cater for all dietary requirements.
