  • TIME:  10.00

  • DISTANCE: 8.2 miles

  • DURATION: 3 hours 40 plus breaks

Happiness is blooming lavender….and in July we can find this purple joy on our doorstep at the Lavender Fields outside Selborne 😊

Thanks to the Lavender Field’s generosity, we can offer you a walk in the surrounding countryside directly from the farm, with time later to wander through the lavender or to just enjoy a refreshment in their new cafe.

The walk will explore the remote area to the east of Alton between the Worldhams and Wyck. The route will in part follow the Hanger’s Way as well as the footsteps of Radio 4s Clare Balding (of Ramblings fame). She recently walked some of this path with the organisers of Alton’s Walking Festival.

Entry to the Lavender Fields afterwards is optional and please note that a fee applies. Entry to the cafe and shop is free.
