Walk Leader

Sue Holdway is a retired teacher who took up Nordic Walking in 2019 as a safe, social, welcoming and friendly way to become more physically active. She has experienced the benefits of Nordic Walking first hand – no longer suffering from knee pain, losing three stone in weight, feeling fitter, reducing her blood pressure medication, having more energy, gained confidence and a renewed enthusiasm for life. Her aim as an instructor is to spread the word of the fantastic benefits of Nordic Walking, to help people become more active, mobile and enjoy being out in our beautiful countryside, along with the social side which enhances total well-being.
