Walk 56 - Wylds Farm Christmas Charm

christmas tree
  • DATE: Sat 9 December

  • TIME: 10.00

  • START LOCATION: Chapel Common, Rake (SU813 286)

  • DISTANCE: 7 or 7.5 miles (there are 2 possible routes in case Longmoor closed)

  • DURATION: 3 hours 30

There are few places around Petersfield more Christmassy in December than Wylds Christmas Tree Farm, Liss. Every weekend during Advent they transport visitors to the farm to a winter wonderland. Not only can you pick up a proper tree, but you can relax in the Apres Tree Bar, post letters to Santa, enjoy festive food, follow the elf forest trail and so much more. While we don’t recommend completing this walk with a tree in tow, as we are passing it would be rude not to stop off to sample some of their festive atmosphere, food and drink.

Our preferred walk route is 7.5 miles and includes a section across Longmoor Range. However, because there is a risk the range might be closed due to military activity there is a slightly shorter back up route. Both will pass by Wylds Farm.
