Are you struggling to make sense of the title? This walk is for those in their 20/30s – the lamb reference – while mutton is all about the views from the top of Shoulder of Mutton Hill, outside Petersfield. The lambs amongst you can expect a lively caper up Lythe Hanger to Froxfield with the Hampshire 20/30s Walking Group. It is then across to Wheatham Hill to appreciate how Petersfield fits into the surrounding landscape. Once the view has been fully absorbed it is back into town via Steep Marsh. The walk is suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness and decent walking boots are advised.
